Big Ten struggles to generate power in college football's new alignment

No longer can the Big Ten say, from top to bottom, it is on par with the other Power Five conferences. A 1-10 mark against those teams, along with a 5-3 record against the Mid-American Conference, has cemented the Big Ten as a solid No. 5.

Bill Belton scored on a 5-yard run with 1:13 to play and Penn State rallied from a 10-point second-half deficit to post a 13-10 victory Saturday night before a Scarlet Knights record crowd.
